Spotify on mobile and desktop do act differently, because they are on different platforms (computer, and mobile). In terms of Premium features, on both devices - you should be getting the same benefits. If they act differently, I'd recommend doing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app.
You can create a new playlist right on your Fire. Tap Playlists Create new playlist. Type in your playlist’s name in the “Create new playlist” pop-up and tap Save. Next add some music to your playlist by scrolling through your songs and tapping the plus button next to the songs you want to add. Amazon devices allow you to download apps only from Amazon by default. However, with a little effort, you can install Google Play on a Kindle Fire to exponentially increase the number of apps you can access. This process varies slightly depending on the version of the Amazon tablet you use.
Stuck on waiting to download, thanks in advance. Some are Swift songs if that makes any difference but even the others aren't syncing. EDIT: I just reinstalled Spotify on my phone and on my desktop, nada. EDIT 2: I've double-checked the rules in windows advanced firewall, connections to spotify.exe are allowed. Scroll down to Local Files and switch Show Local Files on. Any files in your computer's My Music and Downloads folders are automatically selected. Switch off any sources you don't want Spotify to access. Click ADD A SOURCE to select another folder. You’ll now find music from that folder in Local Files in the menu on the left.
